Tom Lehrer
I grew up listening to my mom's Tom Lehrer records, but I had never actually *seen* Tom Lehrer singing. Someone has posted on YouTube eleven clips of Tom Lehrer performing his songs on stage in the 1960's. Yep, I still know all the words.

- The Vatican Rag.
- Poisoning Pigeons in the Park.
- Werner von Braun.
- So Long, Mom (A Song for Word War III).
- Send the Marines.
- National Brotherhood Week.
- Pollution
- When You Are Old and Gray.
- Masochism Tango.
- The MLF Lullaby.
- Who's Next.

EDIT:

One more, from 1980:
- I Got It From Agnes

And another longer, informal one:
- here and continued here.
EDIT-EDIT: It's from a 1997 math lecture (part of Irving "Kaps" Kaplansky's 80th Birthday Celebration?).

And, for completion's sake, a more recent (1998?) concert version of Poisoning Pigeons.

I was introduced to Tom Lehrer when I was in the 4th grade by a fellow 4th grader. We were learning bases in math so New Math was a very important song. We played That was the Year that was constantly during recess.

If you get a chance to see Tom Foolery (which is revived periodically) it is a musical revue of his songs. Hilarious.

I saw Tom Foolery in DC many many years ago and a smaller production in Michigan a few years later. Fun stuff.

Growing up, I listened to my mom's "Songs by Tom Lehrer" (10" version) and "An Evening Wasted With Tom Lehrer." We found out about "That Was The Year That Was" when one of my history professors played a couple of songs from it in class.
