Ooh, I felt that one, a few minutes ago. Other people did, too. It shook the metal shelves and the CDs in AV and rattled a computer.

Yup, so did I. Office mate didn't, which is weird, since we sit about 15 feet from each other. Maybe because I know what it is I'm feeling.... Nothing rattled here, thank goodness. I'm having enough computer issues this morning as it is....

I happened to be alone at the reference desk and I felt in in my chair but not on the heavy counter. My co-worker was walking through the stacks and didn't feel anything.

It's a matter of position and the conductivity of what you're on. A chair will conduct the motion more than, say, a counter.
