Shakespeare question
Which is preferable: the Arden Shakespeare editions or the Pelican Shakespeare editions? Difference? No difference? Thanks.

(This is for me, not the library.)

I can't remember what the Pelican editions are like, but I do remember the Arden Shakespeare editions. The Arden Shakespeare includes a critical essays - always a plus - and has lots of footnotes to explain the language. In short, they're good study editions.
